Springboard Curriculum

This year we will be using the springboard curriculum. The students will have consumables in class, but they also have access to a digital copy and other resources through class link.  The curriculum is based upon backwards design and includes two embedded assessments (major project, essay, etc) for each of the five units.  The major works of literature for the year will be Romeo and Juliet and To Kill a Mockingbird.  The overall theme for the year is coming of age.

We will move through each genre of literature in this order: short stories, film, novel, drama, and poetry.
